Towson Center Dental Implants & Periodontics believes when it comes to your periodontal health, you deserve nothing but the best. To provide you with the best in customized care, our staff will need to get a full picture of your health. We will ask you to provide some basic information to help us do that and want to make this process as hassle-free as possible. This section contains details on the information we need to get you started, forms you will need to fill out, and how to be ready for your first appointment with us.
Before we begin the treatment process, we must first collect some information on your current condition, prescriptions, medical history, and other relevant medical information. This will allow us to develop a unique treatment plan tailored to your needs. You can help expedite this process by filling out a "New Patient Information Form" before the appointment. This is here for your convenience. However, if you are not comfortable with giving us that information online, we will be happy to help you with this form in person. This information is confidential, and your privacy and comfort are a priority. As always, if you have any additional questions about this process or getting started, call us today at 410-321-9477, and we will be happy to help.
Your initial exam will last approximately 30 minutes to one hour. We will review your medical and dental history and perform a comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums, and an oral cancer exam. In most cases, during this initial consultation we will be able to provide a diagnosis of your periodontal condition and propose a treatment plan to improve your dental health.
Because we know your time is important, we try to stay on schedule to minimize waiting. Prior to your appointment, you may download the required forms on our home page.
Please assist us at the time of your first visit to our office by providing the following information:
Please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your examination so that we can verify any information. A parent or guardian must accompany patients under 18 to this consultation appointment.
The cost of your periodontal treatment may vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. We will discuss with you the cost of your treatment and each of your available payment plan options before you begin treatment so that you can make the best choice for you.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to receive the most ideal periodontal treatment.
